Dog Behaviour Problems
Training is important - but not all
behavioural problems can be resolved with training alone. There is a lot of
information about dog behaviour available from books, the internet and
television, but every dog; every pet/owner relationship and every behaviour
problem is different. What may seem to be an effective treatment for one dog
could actually result in a worsening of the current problem and even the
development of other, possibly more serious behaviours in another individual.

By treating you and your dog as individuals and by
exploring all factors influencing your dog's behaviour we may best understand
the underlying causes of the behavioural problem and so in turn apply the most
appropriate, effective and gentle means of treatment.

Testimonials:
"Just a
quick note to say a huge "Thank You". Sketch is under control now that we
understand what to do, and life is so much easier and pleasurable with an
obedient hound. I still cannot believe how quickly this has happened, all
thanks to your calm guidance!" John - Box
"Our rescue dog,
Jack became anxious and unpredictable with strangers and other dogs following a
serious eye injury. I struggled with exercising him, dreading encounters with
other dog walkers and becoming more and more reluctant to let him off lead. I
contacted Trudi in desperation. She put Jack at his ease, listened to our
difficulties and gave us some really practical ideas which we were able to put
into action immediately. She was also honest about what we would realistically
achieve with him, which I appreciated. Trudi listened, understood and worked
with us. With her help and support we were able to fully enjoy Jack again and
jack became a much happier dog!" Mary - Chippenham
"Charlie
was perfect apart from a house-training problem, but we were at our wits end
about it. The vet recommended Trudi whose advice was very detailed and gave us
lots of new ideas which we hadn't thought about. The first few days of
retraining Charlie weren't easy but Trudi had prepared us well and we stuck to
her advice. Within a matter of days Charlie was totally perfect! We're so
relieved and grateful." Margaret - Bath
"Trudi was the only
behaviourist that our vet would recommend and so with that endorsement I asked
her to help us with our rather difficult young Weimaraner, a rescue dog with
fear aggression issues. Her calm, effective intervention and advice has
achieved ongoing, positive and lasting improvements. I cannot recommend her
highly enough and urge anyone with a problem pet to seek her help immediately."
